Guide your organization to achieve BUSINESS AGILITY with SAFe
As a future SPC (SAFe Program Consultant) attendees will learn during the course how to lead a Lean-Agile transformation based on the principles and practices of the Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®) and the seven core competencies of a Lean Enterprise to achieve Business Agility.

Attendees will learn and practice how to implement programs, launch Agile Release Trains (ART's) and create a DevOps culture to build the Continuous Delivery Pipeline and enhance a Lean Portfolio.

  • More than 50% of the course taught in Spanish
    Course materials and the certification exam are in English. More than 50% of the contents of the training will be taught in Spanish. Some parts will still be taught in English, with - if necessary - immediate explanation in Spanish.
    In order to successfully complete the course and the exam, it is however required that attendees will have a good understanding of written English and a fair understanding of spoken English. All exercises and Q&A will be handled in Spanish.

  • 2 months of preparation for the Exam by the team of Trainers
    After the class attendees will have 30 days to take the exam. Estratecno will support an exam study group (Slack or Whatsapp) to facilitate the preparation of the exam and/or solve doubts about its practical application. Trainers will answer open questions on the support channel.

  • One exam retake for free
    Estratecno's exam pass rate is very high. In case a student does not pass the exam on the first attempt, we will pay for one exam retake if:
    • Attendee participated in the exam preparations sessions
    • Attendee participated in the exam preparations sessions scored at least a 85% for the test exam

  • 50% Discount on another course of the SAFe calendar
    Up to 9 months after course completion, attendees will receive a 50% discount on a successive course in Estratecno's SAFe calendar.

Simon Porro, Certified SAFe® Program Consultant Trainer - SPCT, Director, Scaled Agile Transformation Coach and Trainer at wibas Management Consultants

Simon trains, guides and coaches implementations of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Lean Product Development, and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Since 2014 his primary focus is on training and coaching agile transformations with SAFe. It is Simon's passion to support product development organizations, teams and professionals with sharp analyses, advice, training, and coaching, so that they can develop their own leadership on their transformation journey.
Simon is a trained LeanSixSigma Blackbelt, Certified SAFe Program Consultant Trainer (SPCT), Certified Scrum Master, and Certified Scrum Product Owner. After graduation in 1987 he worked for 6 years as software developer, project manager and team lead, with a strong focus on process improvement and software metrics. From 1995 - 2013 he was active as independent process improvement consultant/coach/trainer with focus on Lean/Agile and SW-CMM and CMMI. From 2004 to 2014 he acted as independent Certified CMMI SCAMPI Lead Appraiser for product development organizations.
Alexander Menzinsky, SPC. Senior Agile Coach & Trainer (Implementing SAFe co-trainer) at Estratecno
Enterprise Agile Coach with wide experience in Agile Transformation projects in national and international big companies. Organizational and Systemic Coach. Scrum Alliance Instructor. Design Sprint Expert. Alex is currently developing as an Agile Coach and Systems Coach, as expert in scaled Agile frameworks. Since 2017 Álex feels fullness being focused on the guidance of ARTs of 8 to 10 teams, including IT and business ARTs.

Certified Scaled Agile Framework Program Consultant (SAFe SPC5) Release Train Engineer (SAFe RTE) with 20 PI Plannings (Big Room Plannings) organized. 2020 focus on Public/Customer workhops and trainings related to Scaling Agile (Online versions since March). 2019 working with Orange Telecom and Siemens Gamesa. Previously several years scaling Agile as Release Train Engineer with Elekta Sweden, and Visma labs Spain after several years of Agile Product Development at Ericsson Telecom in Sweden and 2,5 years in Shanghai. Versatile in Agile (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, XP), Lean and Waterfall product development, ranging from very small to very large projects. Also 2 years of coaching/driving Implementation process for Agile Product Security and Privacy Data incl. Summary

During this course, attendees will learn how to lead a Lean-Agile transformation by leveraging the practices and principles of the Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®), as well as the five core competencies of the Lean Enterprise.Attendees will also gain insights and practice how to coach programs, launch Agile Release Trains, build a Continuous Delivery Pipeline with DevOps culture, and build a Lean Portfolio. 
The first two days of the course—Leading SAFe®—will provide them with the basis to teach SAFe to leaders. The final two days focus exclusively on what it takes to successfully implement SAFe in the enterprise.Becoming a Certified SAFe® 5 Program Consultant (SPC), and becoming a change agent, will enable attendees to coach and guide the enterprise to succeed in a disruptive marketplace and empower them to implement a Lean-Agile SAFe transformation.

Prerequisites
All stakeholders in a Lean-Agile transformation are welcome to attend the course,regardless of experience. However, the following prerequisites are highly recommended for those who intend to take the SAFe® 5 Program Consultant exam and practice as a Certified SAFe® 5 Program Consultant (SPC):
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, testing, business analysis,product, or project management
  • 3+ years of experience in Agile
  • One or more relevant Agile certifications

Exam Details
  • Exam name – SAFe 5 Program Consultant Exam.
  • Exam format – Multiple choice.
  • Exam delivery – Web-based (single-browser), closed book, no outside assistance, timed.
  • Exam access – Candidates can access the exam within the SAFe Community
  • Platform upon completion of the Implementing SAFe course.
  • Exam duration – Once the exam begins, candidates have 120 minutes (2 hours) to complete the exam.
  • Number of questions – 60.
  • Passing score – 45 out of 60 (75% pass rate).
  • Language – English.
  • Exam cost – First exam attempt is included as part of the course registration fee if the exam is taken within 30 days of course completion. Each retake attempt costs $250.
  • Retake policy – Second attempt on exam (first retake) can be done immediately after first attempt. Third attempt requires a 10-day wait. Fourth attempt requires a 30-day wait. Contact support@scaledagile.com for any retake questions.
Professional Development Units (PDUs) and Scrum Education Units (SEUs)
Attendees may be eligible to apply for 30 PDUs toward your continuing education requirements with the Project Management Institute (PMI) for PMP, PgMP, and PMI-ACP certifications.
